Overview

Better Beginnings is a non-profit child development center licensed by the State of NJ and accredited by the National Assoc. for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).  The programs include a) full-day preschool;  b) after-kindergarten (afternoons); c) after-school; and d) summer.  Approximately 105 children are enrolled in a 52 wk/yr program.  The hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.,

Mon-Fri.  Eligibility for service, and fees (co-payments) are based on need, family income, and family size.

Children must be between 2 1/2 years (and potty trained) and 11 years.  Parents/Guardians must be working and/or in training for employment in order for their children to be eligibility.
